This article summarizes the interim results of a comprehensive study conducted by the Department of New Russian-Speaking Jewish Migration Studies at the Institute of Euro-Asian Jewish Studies, partially presented by Mikhail Menn at a roundtable discussion at Bar-Ilan University in November 2025. It analyzes the socio-demographic profile of the latest wave of repatriates, their motivations, integration challenges, and the dynamics of their emerging identity. Particular attention is given to a comparative analysis with previous migration flows and the impact of the events of October 7, 2023, on adaptation processes. Conclusions of this study could be relevant for shaping Israel’s contemporary integration policy.
